Louis Savy

Louis Savy is the founder and festival director for the London International Festival of Science Fiction and Fantastic Film (SCI-FI-LONDON), which just celebrated its tenth anniversary. In addition, he runs regular workshops and surgery sessions for the capital's film agency, Film London and the Independent Cinema Office. Louis has produced many corporate films and developed projects for young filmmakers across the country. He has a wide interest in film and festivals and is currently writing a book on festival management and best practice. He lives in London with his partner and three children.

Peter Howden

Peter Howden has been part of the London independent cinema scene for over forty years. He managed and programmed the Electric, Portobello Road and the Everyman, Hampstead in the years when independent repertory cinemas flourished in the capital. Peter has also ventured into the distribution side of the film business and he is still a regular at the Hong Kong Film Festival. He still enjoys watching, writing about and even showing films and currently does all three at the Rio Dalston, home of the London Turkish Film Festival for a mere sixteen years! He also likes cats.
